90-Day Buy-Back Guarantee

At Jinyu Autos, we value long-term cooperation with our global partners and buyers. To protect our customers’ rights, all our used vehicles undergo a 268V Vehicle Inspection. Vehicles that pass the 268V inspection come with a clear and transparent 90-Day Buy-Back Guarantee.

Once the insurance is activated, within 90 days from (and including) the date of the completed transaction and registration transfer, if you discover that the inspected vehicle is a Grade D accident car, fire-damaged, or water-damaged, and our inspection report failed to reflect this accurately, Jinyu Autos will compensate the difference in price or repurchase the vehicle at the transaction price.

1. Scope of Coverage

If a vehicle certified by 268V inspection is later found to be a:

  • Severe accident vehicle (Grade D accident car)
  • Fire-damaged vehicle
  • Water-damaged vehicle

and such conditions were not accurately reflected in the inspection report, we will:

  • Compensate the price difference, or
  • Repurchase the vehicle at the transaction price
2.Activation Process for the Insurance
  • Vehicle inspection completed and report issued.
  • Complete the Vehicle Transaction within 90 days

  • Activate the insurance within our system.
  • Enjoy 90-day Buyback Guarantee after activation.

3. Coverage Criteria

  • The inspected vehicle must not be a Grade D accident vehicle, fire-damaged vehicle, or water-damaged vehicle at the time of inspection (identified by VIN).
  • Each inspection report is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.
  • Each report can only be activated once.
  • After activation, the guarantee remains valid for 90 days from the date of ownership transfer.

4.How the insured beneficiary can make a claim

  • Claim period: After the insured beneficiary initiates a claim, if our re-inspection confirms that the inspection report contains certification errors, the insured beneficiary must submit all required documents within 7 calendar days from (and including) the date of notification. Failure to do so will be deemed as a waiver of the claim.
  • Documents required for claims: When submitting a claim within the scope of coverage, the insured beneficiary is obliged to provide the following materials:
    • The insured beneficiary’s identity card or business license;
    • Original written claim application;
    • Vehicle transaction contract, electronic payment receipt for the purchase, vehicle registration certificate, motor vehicle title certificate, and vehicle transfer invoice;
    • Our inspection report and the 268V Inspection Protection C ommitment issued by us (Online Document);
    • Supporting documents demonstrating errors in our inspection;
    • If the claim involves errors in engine or transmission inspection, in addition to the above documents, photographs of the vehicle’s odometer reading are required (applicable only for full-vehicle detailed inspection);
    • Any other documents that we consider necessary and reasonable.

5. Insured Beneficiary

Within 90 days from (and including) the date of issuance of the inspection report, the current owner of the inspected vehicle (subject to transfer registration) must simultaneously meet all the following conditions:
  • The number of transfers of the inspected vehicle after the issuance of the inspection report is 1 or 2 (limited to 1 transfer for luxury cars);
  • The current owner has completed the vehicle transfer procedures by paying a reasonable consideration;
  • The insurance activation has been completed within the report activation period. You shall submit the insured beneficiary information to us and accept our verification.

The activation of the inspection report is a necessary process for you to obtain claim settlement. To enhance the user experience, we do not require you to provide all materials required for claim settlement during activation. Therefore, successful activation does not mean you are necessarily a qualified insured beneficiary.

We have the right to require you to submit all claim settlement materials and accept our verification when you file a claim. Those who do not meet the standards of insured beneficiaries will not be eligible for the repurchase due to misinspection of “three non-compliance items” (non-accident, non-flood, non-fire) or the price difference compensation benefit even if the activation is successful.

6. Important Notes

  • Successful activation does not guarantee claim approval if beneficiary conditions are not met.
  • We reserve the right to verify all claim documents.
  • Guarantee becomes invalid after the vehicle is sold or re-registered again.
